Well I'm not terribly impressed thus far but we still have a few days to go. If this is a sign of the cities to come I might bail out on the rest of these shows and just wait for the photos
to come up online.
Alright, you called my bluff. I would never dream of missing the whole extravaganza. Although I'm not seeing many new concepts sashaying down the runway I am seeing a return to some classic designs with slight variations, breathing new life to old ideas. Skinny belts, american football shoulder pads, jumpsuits and waist focused frocks are all back on the runways which is good news for our fashion budgets next Spring! The other common theme running throughout is the "I've just rolled out of bed look" which is reflecting not only in the styling of the clothes but also carries through to the hair and makeup.
I've always believed the clothes really speak for themselves so through the next couple of weeks you will find less words and more images on this blog. I hope you enjoy the scenery!
My favourites from the first few days included:
Alexander Wang:
Chado Ralph Rucci:

Jason Wu -
