I worry about what to cook for tea and get annoyed about standing on bits of Lego in my bare feet and finding raisins stuck to my purse. It's not that I'm complaining really, it's just, well, a little more hum-drum-mum than yummy mummy. I have, however, found the perfect antidote to life's minor irritations: large lattes, carrot cake and writing about my life as a mother and, much more interestingly, about other mothers' lives.
