If there's one person in this world who knows how to throw a fabulous party - other than myself, of course! Oh, and maybe Elton John - it's P Diddy. I've just read about the do he's planning for this coming Friday to celebrate getting a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Sounds like it's going to be huge! And with a guest list including the BeckhamBLOGp-diddy-1b.jpgs, Tom Cruise, and Eva Longoria, it should be the talk of Tinseltown by the weekend. Apparently he's spending £2 million on making sure it's the mother of all parties. Good on him! It's not every day you get your name added to a list featuring the cream of the US entertainment industry. He deserves to celebrate in style!

Speaking of celebrating in style, Coleen clearly had a great time on her hen week in Miami. I think it's quite sweet that Wayne texted her to say "don't forget about me!" after seeing pictures of her dancing with other men. From what I've heard she had no time for any of her admirers, and personally I don't think Wayne has anything to worry about - those two seem made for each other!

bloggordon-ramseyreal.jpgI've just seen that Gordon Ramsay's thinking about opening a restaurant in Canada. His place in Claridge's is one of my absolute favourites, and when I'm across the Pond I always wind up at his New York one after a hard day's retail therapy - so that's great news. Admittedly I'm not in Vancouver or Toronto as much as I'm in New York, BLOGjim-carrey-1b.jpgbut it's very comforting to know that if I ever need to pop over the border there will be a little treat in store!

And I can't really sign off without acknowledging what a rather splendidly buff bod Rodrigo Santoro has. I can't say he's ever come to my attention before, but that photo of him playing Jim Carrey's arm candy in a new film has gone a long way to fixing his name in my memory!

lulu-1b.jpgNote to self - take a leaf out of Lulu's book on the philosophy of life. This lady says attitude is everything and, looking at her, how could you doubt it? Not many 59-year-olds could strut onto stage in a corset to perform with a pair of 22-year-old lovelies and pull it off. And she not only pulled it off, she did so with aplomb, putting the youngsters well and truly in the shade.

Most importantly, though, she looked like she was having the time of her life.

Lulu, I applaud you. And if thinking young does that for you, I know what my mantra will be for the rest of my days!

gwyneth-paltrow1-b.jpgOh Gwyneth, you're my heroine! I thought I had the best shoe collection in town. But looking at the glorious creations you wore this week, I see you could definitely give me a run for my money. I was positively drooling - and will be dashing straight out to Bond Street after I've written this to flex some serious plastic!

I've got to have a pair of those gorgeous Giuseppe Zanotti stilettos you wore in Rome. And the lovely, lovely satin Louboutins you gave an airing in Germany would go perfectly with my new LBD. Agreed, I might need scaffolding to stay upright, but it would be worth it!

I wonder where Gwyneth got her passion for heels from? Mine all started when I was three and began stealing my mother's stilettos to clop round the kitchen. These days I think she'd like to steal mine - if she could find where I've hidden them!

beatrice-1b.jpgHave you heard who might be moving to my neighbourhood? None other than my favourite princess - Beatrice. Apparently she's been looking at houses in Sloane Square. Oh, the excitement! I'm already rehearsing what I'll say when I bump into her while I'm taking Cavalli for walkies. (He's been looking a little plump recently - too many Champagne Gourmet dog treats! - and a little extra exercise is just what he needs...)

Must be fab to have a £4.2 million budget when choosing student digs. I think I know which house she looked around, and it's the perfect place to invite Peaches and Pixie back for a post-Boujis party. Maybe I'm getting a bit carried away as nothing's been signed yet. But if she does need someone to show her round the area, Cavalli and I are definitely available.

daniel-radcliffe-1b.jpgPoor Daniel Radcliffe. He's a Hollywood star and multi-millionaire at 18, but doesn't seem to have had much luck finding himself a girlfriend. First his romance with the actress who shared the stage with him on his first theatre job fizzled out. Then it turns out that an Australian lass who caught his eye at an awards ceremony - and the press helpfully tracked down - has a boyfriend.

I can only conclude the lady in question is either incredibly loyal or has the best boyfriend on the planet. Although perhaps she's tempted, as she's left the door wide open for a potential date by revealing she already had an extended holiday in London planned for later this year and wouldn't mind catching up with the increasingly hunky actor!kelly-brook-2b.jpg

Whatever the outcome Harry, oops sorry, Daniel, I'm sure the right person is out there for you somewhere. Let's face it, what female wouldn't want you on her arm?

While Daniel's looking for love, Kelly Brook is losing it. It's always sad when relationships come to an end, although I can't help but admire Kelly for taking positive action to move her life on. How many people stay in relationships they know are not quite right just because they're convenient?

lembit-opik-1b.jpgI don't know about you, but when Lembit and and Cheeky Girl Gabriela first got together, I couldn't quite believe it. I mean, they say opposites attract, but that pairing seemed just plain weird. And I wasn't exactly surprised to learn there were those who predicted it wouldn't last.

So what a turn up for the books to learn that not only has the local politician popped the question, but Gabriella has ecstatically agreed to become his wife after he got down on one knee in Rome.

Congrats to them both! I love a happy ending.

Any bets on what the bride and groom might choose as the track for their first dance?

naomiapology-1b.jpgI couldn't believe my eyes today when I saw Naomi Campbell positively beaming as she chatted to the two police officers who were present during her Heathrow "bag incident". I hear she was "absolutely charming" and even apologised for having causing inconvenience.

And the three of them looked like a group of chums having a good old giggle after a glass of bubbly or two. So what was going on? Was it a case of water under the bridge, or were the two policewomen intimidated by Naomi's towering presence? Just kidding! But, seriously, did you see those shoes? My goodness - I mean I love my stilettos but I can't imagine pulling my luggage while wobbling along on those giant platforms. You've got to hand it to her, there's no letting the style side down for our Naomi!

beckhams-1b.jpg Oh how times have changed in the Beckham household! I remember the days when everything they did had a Mariah Carey level of extravagance. Their wedding, for example, when they sat on thrones and Posh topped off her outfit with a £10,000 crown.

Fast forward to Thursday and Victoria's low-key birthday celebrations. What a contrast. Okay, so 34 may not be a particularly momentous age, but you'd have thought they'd push the boat out a bit further than a local TexMex joint. It was just so normal. Well, apart from  the scrum of photographers blocking their way to the restaurant, of course. What happened to all those totally over the top gestures, jet-set surprises, and headline-making tokens of affection?

Mind you, Posh isn't the only one toning down her act. I hear that Paris stayed in a Liverpool B&B while on tour with her rocker boyfriend. What's next? Nicole and Keith going to Butlins for their anniversary?

putin-new-2b.jpgThere seems to be a distinct trend at the moment for beautiful, young women hooking up with political giants. First there was Nicolas Sarkozy's surprise marriage to the lovely Carla, and now reports have emerged that Russia's President Putin has divorced his wife and is set to get hitched to a 24-year-old model and former gymnast. What's going on? Is it a power thing, do you think? I have to admit I find it a little strange - and I certainly can't imagine our Gordon Brown divorcing Sarah and taking up with Agyness Deyn, can you?
wendy.jpg
I also got quite excited by Wendy Richard's new role. I almost fell off my chair when I saw the photos of her in that scarlet swimsuit. What would Pauline say? Wendy said she wanted a change when she left, and she certainly got one. Zipping about on a mobility scooter, fighting over men, and getting flung into a pool covered in suntan lotion couldn't be more  different from those gritty EastEnders storylines!

I don't know about you guys, but Jude Law's never been my type. Okay, so he's handsome. But put him next to a screen tough guy jude-law.jpglike Daniel Craig and he pales in comparison. (Mind you, after seeing Daniel in those shorts in his first Bond film, anyone would have a job measuring up!) Anyway, back to Jude... I have to admit that when I saw his new cropped 'do today I had a change of heart. He looks gorgeous - and ten times more manly. Tumbling curls may work for some - Colin Firth and Ioan Gruffudd for instance - but I think that as far as Jude's concerned less is definitely more on the hair front.

Is there anywhere Paris Hilton hasn't been in the past few weeks? Every time I BLOGparis-hilton-1b.jpgsee a picture of her she's in a new country! And this week it's our turn to play host to the sassy American glamourpuss, who - in case you live on the moon - has been tagging along with new rocker boyfriend Benji Madden on his current tour with Good Charlotte.

And is it just me or does she seem to have undergone an image overhaul to reflect her new rock chick status? Has anyone else noticed what she's been wearing recently?

She doesn't seem to have adapted her taste in music to her new look just yet though. There was a definite reminder of the 'old' Paris at my fave bar Mahiki last night when she stepped up to do a little DJing - and, brilliantly, played her single Stars Are Blind. I wonder what rocker Benji makes of his girlfriend's girly pop sound?

Isn't it great to know that, even though they're the Queen's grandsons, Peter Phillips and his cousins aren'tBLOGpeter-phillips-1b.jpg too grand to enjoy all the tomfoolery and teasing matey antics of a good old stag do? How hilarious are those snaps of Peter strolling along the quay cradling a plastic doll with panda eyes drawn on his face with marker pen? Obviously he's a brilliant sport and has some fun friends. It looks like the weekend was much like any other groom's pre-wedding bash - well, apart from the titles, the yachting excursion, and the frightfully pleasant location, that is. I wonder what Autumn has planned for her hen night...

What do we all reckon to Kate Hudson's dress at the Fool's Gold premiere, then? I thought it was fab, and I'd gladly risk my tassels coming undone if gorgeous Matthew McConaughey was going to come to my BLOGkate-hudson-b.jpgrescue. Somebody should have told Kate the 'red' carpet would actually be blue, though. Her John Galliano gown, beautiful though it was, didn't really work  with the carpet rolled out in her honour. Everyone knows the old saying "blue and green should never be seen" - and I'm sure someone as style-savvy as Kate would have borne that in mind had she known. Note to party organisers everywhere: don't mess with the colour of the carpet! It's enough trouble for us girls to match our bags, shoes and nail polish to our carefully planned ensembles, without having to start factoring in the carpet as well.

BLOGrowling-jordan-b.jpgI'm finding it hard to think of two celebrities who must have less in common than JK Rowling and Jordan. But last night, there they both were at the British Book Awards - seemingly getting on like a house on fire! And they both looked fab, too. Jordan's darker 'do is really working for her, and I loved that midnight blue affair JK had chosen. Perhaps Jordan was picking up a few writing tips. Her children's book My Pony Care Book may have sold well, but I don't think she'll be rivaling JK's position as the world's most successful children's author any time soon!

BLOGpete-doherty-1b.jpg BLOGnicolette-sheridan.jpgArgh! I've just heard that Nicolette Sheridan might be leaving Desperate Housewives. And she's my favourite character! Okay so the other residents of Wisteria Lane aren't exactly boring, but Edie's such a colourful trouble maker you never know what's coming next. On the up side, if the speculation turns out to be true I bet season five will be pretty explosive. I can't see feisty Edie leaving without putting up a good fight...

And then there's the news about Pete Doherty getting 14 weeks! Oh Pete, my heart sank when I heard you'd been given a custodial sentence, especially as things were really starting to go well for you. OK, I admit that when you first started going out with Kate I was a bit miffed. But after you guys split up and she went off with Jamie Hince, I felt sorry for you and ended up rooting for you to turn your life around. With your biggest solo concert to date coming up, and a Glastonbury gig on the horizon, you were really getting there. I just hope what's happened helps you get your priorities sorted out for good.

BLOGkate-moss.jpgShe usually looks the epitome of effortless chic, so when I saw the pictures of Kate Moss at Universal Studios in a yellow waterproof poncho I must admit I was surprised. And impressed, too - what a breath of fresh air to see a celebrity not afraid of letting down their guard every once in a while. By the time the ride was finished her hair was completely drenched! I don't think there are many other models out there who'd be so laid back about looking less than perfect in public. Mind you, maybe her 'whatever' attitude had a lot to do with one of her holiday companions - her hairdresser pal James Brown. I think if I had my hair stylist on holiday with me I'd be a lot more relaxed about letting my 'crowning glory' look less than perfect every now and then, too - safe in the knowledge there was someone on hand to have it looking fab again pretty much straight away!

geri-halliwell-1b.jpgI was so pleased to see two of my favourite showbiz ladies, Sharon Stone and Geri Halliwell out on dates this week. Sure I'm all for girl power, and I know that you don't need a man to make you happy (as both Geri and Sharon have said on numerous occasions) but I can't deny that having a special someone to share things with does put a certain rosy glow on things. And judging by the happy look on both their faces, I'd bet that Geri and Sharon would agree!

naomi-campbell-1b.jpg Naomi, I feel your pain. There's hardly anything as annoying as having your bag go astray when you're taking a flight. After all, when you're going away, you usually travel with your best clothes and all your makeup. And though people have been quick to say she should have done more to control her frayed emotions, I daresay there were more heated displays going on in Terminal 5 that day.

gary-rhodes.jpgLooking through the site today after getting back from lunch at Nobu, I thought someone most have slipped vodka into my slimline tonic. Was I really seeing telly chef Gary Rhodes displaying a rippling six pack? Wow, what a makeover. Gordon Ramsay has officially been toppled off the top spot of the small screen's most sexy chef, don't you think? Similarly I had to look twice when I saw the picture of Suzanne Shaw vamped up for her new role in Chicago. I'm so used to seeing her in girly mode that for a moment I thought they'd used the wrong photo! She looks great. I wonder if ice skating would have the same effect on my figure? Might have to invest in a pair of skates!

miss-england-1b.jpgI'd like to give a resounding thumbs up to Chloe Marshall, the curvy teenager who's smashing people's preconceptions as to what a beauty queen should be. I thought she looked great in the shoot for this week's HELLO! magazine. Hopefully it's a sign we're finally starting to recover from the size zero syndrome that had everyone eating steamed spinach and very little else. Chloe says she loves her body and wouldn't change herself at all. Go girl! I normally can't stand beauty pageants, but I'll be following the Miss England contest with interest in July - and I really hope she wins the tiara!
