If you speak to any of my nearest and dearest they'll tell you that I'm always, always running ten minutes late. For everything. But even I wouldn't turn up at the Ivor Novello ceremony half way through! Sounds like Amy Winehouse was a tad more than "fashionably late"... Even her dad Mitch seemed bemused when he had to take to the stage in her place to collect the award.

When Amy finally did show up though, in a really pretty floral dress - I wonder where she got it? I thought there was a distinct resemblance to some of the designs in SJP's new Bitten line - she was suitably excited about her win.

And she's said she's working on new material that's as atmospheric and 'love-lorn' as Back To Black. Fab! Despite being time-keeping challenged she's such a talent. I can't wait for a new album.
