Browsing the site today, I was struck by two very opposite celeb relationship approaches. In one corner we have Mariah's plans for an over-the-top, £2 million wedding extravaganza, and in the other, Amy's low key, practically non-existent anniversary celebrations. Now I know her hubby Blake is incarcerated, but I was a little shocked to hear that she didn't visit him on the day itself. (In case you're wondering, she was apparently watching Kate Moss' ex Pete Doherty play in a charity football match instead.)
Mind you, they hardly have the most conventional of marriages, having been apart for most of it so far! I'll be watching with interest to see what happens when they're reunited on the outside - I hope for their sake they manage to sort out their problems and stay happy together.
Oh and on a completely different subject, what do we reckon about Gwyneth's sexy take on the Roman centurion look? Now you know how much I love my shoes, but I've seen those strappy sandals on the catwalks and I've never been sure. Gwyn certainly wore them well though. Could I get away with that toga-style dress in Funky Buddah do you think?
Poor Amy, it's not even a marriage. She has all this time to get over her drug problems and she's hangin' with Pete? Pathetic! I really like her music and wish her the best, but her concept of reality is soooooo skrewed-up.
Too right Lori - Pete is a total waster, she shouldn't be going around with him if she wants to sort her life out.
I feel sorry for her husband in prison though - it must be horrible to read all the papers and see her making a fool of herself. And she doesn't even go see him on their anniversary. i bet he was really cut up.
