So US sources say romance is blossoming for Winona and Keanu. Wouldn't that be fab? I'd love it if after all these years they realised it was just meant to be and snatch their happy ending, just like in one of Winona's feel-good movies from the Eighties.

They'd be unstoppable. They could have a big lavish wedding, adopt a whole load of children and maybe have a few of their own. Keanu could even go on Oprah and jump on her couch while confessing his undying love. Hmm, perhaps that's not exactly his style, though.

Before you know it, it'd be Branjelina who? And Tom and Katie wouldn't get a look in.

Much as I want it to be true, though, I just don't buy it. Think about it. They've known each other for about a squillion years, so of course they're going to be affectionate on set. And there's so much sitting around between takes that the natural thing to do is hang out in each other's trailer.

I really hope I eat my words as I'd love them to find happiness together - but I won't believe it till I see it with my own eyes.
