Like everyone else, it seems, I was waiting for the first glimpse of Mariah and her new husband. Mainly to check out the bling-tastic wedding band I anticipated seeing on her ring finger. And I wasn't disappointed. Did you see it? No plain gold band for my favourite diva; she was in danger of blinding photographers with all those rocks! And Mr Mariah had one to match...

Speaking of couples, how sad to see Liv Tyler and her British hubby have split. I thought they'd be together forever. Just goes to show, you never can tell.

Finally, I can't sign off without mentioning last night's Classic Brits. What a great party! I'm kicking myself for not keeping up my piano lessons now. Talk about making classic cool. Before long kids will be aspiring to be opera singers instead of members of a boy band.
