Well it was the moment I'd been waiting for - SJP and the other Sex And the City girls on the red carpet together to launch the movie. And while my brain struggled to compute the fact that these were actresses in front of me, and not in fact my heroines from my all time favourite show in the world, ever, I did the only thing natural for a self-confessed shoe-a-holic like myself - I got down to the serious business of checking out what they had on their feet.

Oh, I was in stiletto heaven. Sarah's monochrome Alexander McQueen peep toes were to die for. Ditto Kristin's lovely Louboutins. And Kim's Gucci strappy sandals were perfect for summer. Miranda, sorry Cynthia, had on a long dress, but I clocked her gorgeous Gucci peep toes eventually.

Can't wait to see what they wear for the big New York bash in two weeks' time!

Who would have thought that the heir to the throne would hold such affection for - and have family ties with - the homeland of Dracula and The Cheeky Girls!
