The 'boyz' are back in town!

BLOGboyzone-2b.jpgTake That's nothing-short-of-spectacular return to the forefront of pop last year - how excited was I when they got back together? - clearly gave fellow Nineties pin-ups Boyzone ideas. Which is a good thing, of course! I spent many an hour in my bedroom practicing dance routines to So Good, singing Love Me For A Reason into a can of hairspray, and debating who was better looking - Ronan or Stephen. But that was over a decade ago - a minor detail the lads appear to have forgotten!

Because while Take That have embraced their maturity and set pulses racing - mine more than most, I must admit - in snappy suits and smart ensembles, Ronan and the 'boyz' are still prancing about in baggy silver pants.

Well, each to their own, I suppose. But from what I hear they've been hitting the gym a lot and are all in great shape - something the metallic trousers definitely fail to do juBLOG 2 boyzone-1b.jpgstice to. If there were some newly pert rears in action on that stage it would have been nice to have been able to appreciate them. Sadly there's no photographic evidence, however, as all the snappers were sent out before the lads stripped off. Which seems rather strange. After working so hard to get back into shape, you'd think they'd enjoy a bit of appreciation, never mind a permanent record of the results!

So true. they're nothing compared to Take That - put it away boyz!

Silver pants are never a good idea anyway. What are they thinking?

Well if Mark Owen stepped out in silver pants and decided to strip off i wouldnt complain, but Boyzone (old-men-zone) are just trying to strut talent that they never even had in the first place!

I wouldn't call sales of over 15 million "talent they never had in the first place" Tania. Ronan is a legend. "Life is a rollercoaster". Never were truer words spoken

I agree with Tania though, Boyzone are too old for these kind of antics. Leave it to the youngsters. Hang up those silver pants for good!
