What on earth was going on at the New York Sex And The City premiere? I think there must have been a mix up in the wardrobe department. Sarah Jessica Parker should have been the one in the standout dress, not Cynthia. Why was my heroine trying to blend into the background by choosing a metallic effect gown like those worn by her co-stars? Come on, we all know who the real star of the show is. Forget this nonsense about them being equally important. It's Carrie we all want to be.
I have the name plate necklace and as many of her shoes as I can afford (and some that I actually couldn't), I drink cosmopolitans and, like her, practically live for fashion. And I'm not alone. The only serious falling out I've ever had with my gal pals came when the question of 'Which SATC character each of us was' came up. Let's put it this way - none of us was exactly fighting to be defined as Miranda. (Though at a push, I would have settled for sassy Samantha.)
So Sarah, darling - embrace the limelight. Steal it even. You made that show everything it is today.

She is one wierd looking woman.
Must confess that I've never watched a single episode of SATC, but I think SJP's dress looks fab...really lovely.
I hate that programme from the heart of my bottom
Jenna, The radio DJ called SJP a "butter" this morning ... saying everything about her is fabulous butter face. And Bob tee hee hee, from the heart of your bottom . . .?! cwazy man
Lori, it took me a while to get that - "but her face", brilliant! V funny! ha ha ha
