British girls dominate at American Music Awards

american-music1-b.jpgSinger Annie Lennox was certainly flying the British flag high as she picked up a lifetime achievement trophy at the American Music Awards. She's had a lot of success both as a solo performer and as one half of the Eurythmics over the years, but I don't think she's credited often enough for the contribution she's made to the world of music, so, for me and Cavalli at least, the honour was richly deserved.

Both of us also thought our own Leona Lewis more than stood out among the bevy of pretty divas - including Beyonce, Rihanna and Mariah - at the ceremony. I still can't get over how successful Leona's become since her X Factor win, not to mention how humble she's remained through all the subsequent dramatic changes to her life. She totally deserves all the plaudits and with her looks and powerful voice, she's continuing to prove she's a force to be reckoned with!
