Items relating to the late Princess Diana are constantly surfacing and every time something new pops up it seems we get to know her that little bit better. The letters revealed a month ago give a deep insight into her day-to-day personal life, but I'm loving the most recently unearthed cards and notes even more as they show us her funny side.

I always knew the People's Princess had an uncanny ability to relate to all members of the public, but I never realised she could be so down to earth as well! I would have been delighted to receive a cheeky Valentine's Day card from her as her chef Mervyn did. She must have been an amazing person to work for.

These latest items show how easily Diana was able to laugh at herself - perhaps something we should all learn from her. After all, it certainly made for some hilarious and heartwarming anecdotes!
