With the weather as cold as it is, I was happy to see Heidi Klum and Elton John throwing their weight behind a special project to help the homeless recently. 

The 15 Below jackets signed by the stars are bound to start a bidding frenzy when they get auctioned on eBay, raising lots of much-needed cash for the worthwhile project to distribute warm coats to those living on the street. I for one would love to get my hands on one of the autographed jackets - I wonder if my funds will stretch far enough...

Meanwhile, did you see Eva Mendes at the British Comedy Awards at the weekend? I must say I was very impressed with the turnout this year. If the recent success of British comedians over in the US means we will be seeing more stars - and fabulous dresses - at these events, then I'm all for it!
