Now anyone who knows me understands how much I love a celebrity wedding. Beautiful gowns, star guests, dreamy locations - it's all so romantic. But peeved as I am at hearing Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy won't be tying the knot, I have to admit, their approach makes perfect sense.

It's true you don't need a piece of paper or a fancy ceremony to show how much you love someone. And as far as Jim and Jenny are concerned, it's easy to see they're head over heels with each other. So if you're happy with the way things are, why change?

Having said that, I'm not sure if I could follow the same mantra myself. I was dreaming about my wedding day before I even got my first boyfriend and I've had it all planned down to the last detail for as long as I can remember. The only thing missing is the groom. Hmm, a possible New Year's resolution maybe...
